MUGABE CELEBRATES BIRTHDAY, SLAMS GAYS
Last week, homophobic Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe celebrated his 88th birthday and took the opportunity to again slam gays and lesbians.
He told the British Prime Minister to “go to hell” when it came to same-sex marriage and said that this would not be allowed in the country’s new constitution.
“We won’t accept that. There are other countries who have accepted that and put it in their constitutions,” he said on Saturday at a stadium celebration.
“Please, young men and women, you don’t have the freedom for men to marry men and women to marry women. You have the freedom for men to marry women. That’s God’s freedom. That’s what created you and me.”
He went on to add: “You David Cameron, are you suggesting that you don’t know that or is it some kind of insanity or part of the culture of Europeans? In their newspapers, that’s one of my sins. That I called gays worse than pigs and dogs because pigs know there are males and females.
“It’s even in the Bible that you create through the system of marrying. That’s how we were born, so we reject that outright and say to hell with you. I won’t even call him a dog because my own dog will complain and say, but what have I done?” Mugabe told supporters.
Gay sex – along with members of the same sex holding hands, hugging or kissing – is illegal in Zimbabwe with penalties of up to three years in jail.

yet again, more propaganda drivel spews forth from the mind and mouth of this dictator. No surprise. One must at least give him credit for being consistent, even if that consistency is 180 degrees off course, however it suits his political agenda and therefore he will not change course, as is the case with many other African leaders who have their own interests at heart before those of the people they lead.
Having said that there are distinct irregularities in what Mugabe says which need to be pointed out for the sake of justice and truth:
Firstly, everyone has a choice in all matters concerning their lives. In this instance, the context is sexual orientation – which of itself is not a choice, only the acknowledgement or not thereof is a choice. What Mugabe is not saying is there are perhaps (and often proven) dire consequences to one’s choices – choices so personal no politician or institution should have the right to dictate over.
Secondly, the institution of marriage does not bring about human existence. Procreation does. Being a Catholic, Mugabe should know the birth of Christ was that exceptional virgin birth to an unmarried mother. Therefore his argument is invalid in this case and highlights his own agenda and dissemination of a brand of propaganda which is easily dis-proven.
Lastly, it saddens me deeply that one of the Catholic faith chooses display playing God by critically judging others to the point of damnation. Again, as a Catholic Mugabe should know better and one would expect that while he may have a right to his opinions, as we all do, he would at the same time display grace and genuine leadership instead of dictatorship.

I want to vomit on Mugabe’s grave. This piece of rubbish must die soon. Zimbabwe has been destroyed by ZANU-PF and Mugabe. They have robbed and stolen everything to keep the generals in luxury while the people suffer starvation. Mugabe will be remembered as the leader who took a great country and led it down the toilet. He terrorises law abiding tax paying Gays and Lesbians to deflect the attention from his tyranical rule. Mugabe you must die a painful death while watching the security gaurds having sex with Grace your whore wife. Vrek jou rubbish!
Mugabe is a disgrace to His dogs, I will never allow such an old grandfather, who was supposed to have been playing with his peers at old age, to make such a comment, He must not include God in his devicious, plans, God is Love.

Mugabe is an old man. He is not going to change his ideas at this age. He has a right to his opinion on homosexuality, even if it is misinformed. As for him being catholic, it doesn’t mean sh*t, because although catholicism does not approve of sexual acts between people of the same sex, catholics are not allowed to ridicule or bully or mistreat homosexuals in any way.
