GAY ‘CUTEST SCHOOL COUPLE’ GO VIRAL

A yearbook picture of two gay American high school students in New York, who were named their school’s cutest couple, has gone viral after it was posted online.

Eighteen-year-old Chelsea Blaney posted the photo from the Carmel High School yearbook of friends Brad Taylor and Dylan Meehan to Tumblr a few days ago.

“Two of my best friends won Cutest Couple of our senior class,” explained Chelsea.

“First time in my school history a same sex couple has even been able to run for this category, not to mention winning it. So proud of them, and my school,” she added.

The picture, which quickly became an online hit, has already been shared over 100,000 times.

The sweethearts in question went on to write to The Huffington Post.

“This whole thing has been a bit surreal for us because we have been raised to believe that love is love. We never realized that our happiness and openness would inspire so many individuals,” said Brad and Dylan.

“The support we have received from our family, friends, and even strangers has led us to believe that our affection for each other is normal…”

They went on to add: “When we started dating a year [ago], the thought of a photo of us traveling throughout the world would be a bit frightening, but now we are proud to be part of the LGBT community.”

Many have dubbed the boys not only the cutest couple in their school but also one of the cutest on the web.
