Ariana Grande drops her fourth studio album, Sweetener, and pays tribute to fans who lost their lives after her Manchester Arena concert in May last year.

Just hours after being released, and charting in 90 countries on iTunes, Miss Grande’s latest album has already been described as perfection.

While the title could be a reference to her sweet and polite personality, the album takes listeners on a journey of her recovering and finding her light after the tragic terrorist attack left her “upside down,” as she once described it.

The bombing claimed the lives of 22 fans and injured many during her Dangerous Woman Tour. The former Disney star said that, as a person who suffers severe anxiety, her anxiety attacks felt “physical.”

Amongst the tracks that pay tribute to the Manchester bombing causalities, the most notable is the last on the album, titled Get Well Soon, where the No Tears Left To Cry singer added 40 seconds of silence to honour the victims.
