Mathew to start surfing range

Forever shirtless Matthew McConaughey is putting his beach lifestyle to good use. The actor, who seems to spend almost all of time wearing trunks on various beaches around the world, is reportedly starting his own line of surfing wear. According to US Weekly, the range will be called j.k. livin – based on his personal slogan “Just keep livin.” The line, which will include swim suits, t-shirts and even frisbees, will be sold on his site MatthewMcConaughey.com.

Australian website, www.samesame.com.au, has published a list of the gayest songs of all time as voted for by its readers. The site, which says that it received thousands of votes, published the poll to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the recent Sydney Mardi Gras. The site’s top ten gay songs are:

Kelly Osbourne to make drag exercise video

Blame Jane Fonda for creating the ‘exercise video’, way back in the eighties. Now, if reports are to be believed, Kelly Osbourne is to join the long list of celebrities that have released exercise videos. But, there’s a twist: this one is apparently set to include her drag queen friends. “She has enlisted the help of her cross-dressing friend Jodie Harsh and her other drag queen friends to make the video a camp, show-tune packed extravaganza,” a source claims. Uhh, we can’t wait; it’s sure to be a best-seller. Kelly has dramatically slimmed down over the last few months since taking on the role of Mama Morton in the London version of Chicago.

American Idol contestant’s gay stripper past

What is it with those Yanks? Do they all have shady pasts? Now it’s been revealed by Perez Hilton that sexy American Idol contestant David Hernandez has previously worked as a stripper. According to his former employer at Dick’s Cabaret, David apparently stripped down to nothing but his pubes for the club’s mostly male clientele and also provided lap dances. Surprisingly the producers of the show have supported the singer: Speaking to TV Guide, American Idol executive producer Ken Warwick said that, “We’ve had strippers on the show before… We’re never judgmental about people who do things like that,” adding that “If it were some sort of heavy porn, then maybe we’d have to take action. But certainly not on this.” Bravo!

Madonna track leaks onto the net

The first single from Madonna’s upcoming album Hard Candy has found its way onto the internet before its official release. Four Minutes to Save the World, featuring Justin Timberlake was only set to be released at the end of the month but the song has already disappointed some fans. They’ve complained that the beats overwhelm the singer and she can barely be heard on the song. Now Warner Bros. record company has stepped in to do damage control, and has claimed that the leaked song is a demo and not the final version. We’ll all find out soon enough! Madonna’s 11th studio album for Warner Bros, said to be more ‘urban’ and less disco, will have a global release on April 28.

Cynthia talks about her lesbian love

Ahead of the release of the Sex and the City movie, Cynthia Nixon has opened up about being a lesbian. The Tony and Emmy Award-winning actress, who plays Miranda in the series and movie, surprised many a few years ago by shacking up with a woman, Christine Marinoni, after many years of heterosexuality. In a new interview with OK magazine, she says that “I’m in a fantastic relationship. It’s been about four years.” She adds that, “I’m in love with [Christine] because she’s her. If she were a man, would I be in love with her? I don’t know. We shop and cook and raise children – we both pitch in.” Cynthia says that her two kids have adapted well to the relationship: “They were fine. My son was very little [when it happened], but my daughter has a gay uncle [and her godmothers] are lesbians.” Bless! We all love a happily-ever-after lesbian love story…

Hollywood gay romances…

The rumour mill is aflame with claims that former ‘N Sync singer JC Chasez, has shacked up with actor Chace Crawford (you may remember him from the homoerotic horror flick The Covenant). While they claim to just be friends, the inseparable duo have been seen everywhere together of late. Perhaps it’s just another case of an innocent Hollywood ‘bromance’, ala Matthew McConaughey and Lance Armstrong? Either way, the two make a pretty hot couple.

Meanwhile, JC’s former ‘N Sync band mate, the openly gay Lance Bass may be back on the singles market. Pink is the New Blog reports that Lance’s official My Space profile has been updated and now states that he is single. His recent boyfriend Ben Thigpen has also been removed from his Top Friends list. The couple have been in Australia for the Sydney Mardi Gras. Interestingly, Ben’s profile still lists him as in a relationship…

Another Hollywood gay, TR Knight, has a new boyfriend. The 34 year old Grey’s Anatomy actor is dating a younger man: 19-year old teenager Mark Cornelsen. Two were spotted grinning broadly and holding hands at the recent Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar Party. Mark is a fledgling gay rights activist and has been studying Resort/Commercial Recreation Management at San Francisco State University. Maybe a little too young for you TR?
