Supermodel runner up to go full frontal
Openly gay hunk, Ronnie Kroell, who was a runner-up in the 2008 US season of Make Me a Supermodel is set to appear naked in Playgirl. The magazine, which these days is mainly an online publication, only occasionally goes to print when it features a celebrity. It recently disappointed readers by publishing a photo spread of politician Sarah Palin’s infamous son-in-law Levi Johnson in which he kept his manhood well-hidden. This time, however, the magazine has said that the blonde 26 year old Chicago-born Ronnie will be much, much less modest. According to Queerty.com, following the shoot at the Grace Hotel in New York, Playgirl chief Daniel Nardicio announced proudly: “The shots are amazing, and Ronnie is yes, hard and full frontal. You will GAG!” Ronnie is one good looking specimen – so we can’t wait for the pictures to leak online and, uhh, gag!
Green Day star not so bisexual anymore
Green Day singer Billie Joe Armstrong isn’t that sure he’s bisexual anymore. The diminutive star had previously told the Advocate “I think I’ve always been bisexual. It’s ingrained in our heads that it’s bad, when it’s not bad at all. It’s very beautiful”. However, in a new interview with Out magazine to promote the band’s upcoming Broadway musical, the star says he now doesn’t really see himself as bi. “But I’d never say that I’m not. I don’t really classify myself as anything. And when it comes to sex, there are parts of me that are very shy and conservative. I want to respect my wife.” Okay, well if it makes your wife less insecure you can pretend you’re totally straight…
Cape Town overrun by Bel Ami stars
You’ve probably seen our gallery of sexy Bel Ami stars attending a braai at the Glen Hotel in Cape Town. Wondered what they were doing in South Africa? Making dirty movies of course! According to George Duroy, the founder of the world-famous porn studio, over 27 boys have been filming in Cape Town in what he called “the biggest single shoot in Bel Ami history.” The studio said that over 100 sequences have been filmed with performers including Dolph Lambert, Luke Hamill, Kris Evans, Brandon Manilow, the Peters Twins and many more, which will be released on DVD and on the web over the coming months. The boys arrived in Cape Town from Vienna and Budapest and were accompanied by cameramen, production managers, interpreters, drivers, assistants and a person in charge of archiving materials. This was the studio’s first shoot in South Africa in four years.
Was Ricky pushed to come out?
Following Latino superstar Ricky Martin’s coming out this week, it’s been claimed that the sexy stud jumped out of the closet because he was about to be outed anyway. According to La Botana, Ricky was approached by a publication which had received a series of paparazzi photos which would have left no doubt in anyone’s mind that he is gay. Ricky apparently then chose to go public first. It’s now also safe for Ricky’s boyfriend to come to the fore it… In 2005, pictures of Ricky cavorting on the beach with another hunk were published around the world. At the time, the singer’s people said that the mystery man could be his cousin, or his half brother or his personal trainer… But now it does appear as if he is in fact Ricky’s long-time boyfriend. The still un-named man is apparently around Ricky’s age, is not in showbiz, and strongly supported his coming out because he was tired of living in the star’s shadow. The man is also said to be co-parenting Ricky’s two sons. We’re over the moon here at Mamba Mansions that one of our favourite stars is officially one of the gays, even if it seems he had to be pushed to come clean.
George Michael holidays with rent boy
George Michael was spotted holidaying on a yacht off the coast of Sydney after performing down under. And, he was seen kissing and openly frolicking with a man who isn’t his long-time boyfriend Kenny Goss – even cheekily posing for photographers. No surprises there; George (46) has been candid about the fact that he and Kenny have an open relationship but, according to the News of the World, the 23 year old man with George is actually an £150-an-hour Prague-born rent boy. Listed as ‘hotmate24′ on the Gay Romeo website, the man states that he is bisexual and “can visit you at your home, hotel or travel internationally. Available for outcalls and overnights”. (His nightly rate is £600, if you’re interested.) A source told the tabloid that Kenny may not approve: “Sleeping with a prostitute is quite a different matter. There are the obvious risks and it just looks very mucky.” The source also added that “They looked like they were boyfriends in love rather than simply sex partners. And that’s going to be difficult for Kenny to accept.” It seems that George does exactly what he likes, when he likes it, and doesn’t seem to be very concerned about what anyone else thinks.
Will the US de-gay Torchwood?
It’s been announced that producers are working on an American version of the groundbreaking British sci-fi series Torchwood. Fans are concerned, however, that the conservative US market may not be keen on lead character Captain Jack’s bisexuality, as depicted in the Brit version. Played by openly gay actor John Barrowman, Captain Jack gets jiggy with boys, girls and the occasional alien. Now the show’s hot star, who is expected to also take the lead in the US show, has spoken out on the issue: “I hope… that the show stays the same. The last thing I would want would be for Jack to become this heterosexual, straight hero. He’s an unisexual guy. He likes men, women, aliens, whatever. I think we should continue going down that route,” said John. Series creator Russell T. Davies, who is gay and also known for creating Queer as Folk, is writing a script for the Fox network. He is expected to oppose any attempt to de-gay the character.
Miley Cyrus shot down by film critics
Miley Cyrus’s love life may be hot, but her acting career is looking decidedly chilly – at least according to critics who’ve seen the teen songstress in the film The Last Song, described as a coming-of-age drama. “Acting, for the moment at least, seems almost entirely beyond her… she pouts, slouches, storms in and out of rooms and occasionally cracks a snaggle-toothed smile,” writes the New York Times. The New York Post adds: “Cyrus makes the most dubious ‘dramatic’ debut of any singer since Britney Spears.” And the Village voice goes on to describe Miley as “Mickey Rooney in a wig.” Ouch! At least she can find comfort in the arms of her buff beau; her Australian co-star in the film, Liam Hemsworth, whom she recently admitted that she was dating.
