ADVERTORIAL: UNWELCOME FROWN LINES
Today most companies have fairly structured rules and regulations that govern work performance, incentives and promotions and no matter how confident employees might be, most people dread going into their employer or manager’s office to face their appraisal.
One of the reasons for this fear-drenching experience is the mere look on the manager’s face. Somehow the day a person gets promoted; frown-lines are handed out as part of the package and overnight your mates in the office dread going into your office!
Unfortunately you were totally oblivious to the fact, until your last appraisal when your CEO commented that you are very strict and stern with your staff. Fact is you’re not, but boy oh boy tell that to your face!
Those frown-lines between your eyes, coupled with the newly formed eye bags and dark rings transform any jovial character into a dreaded monster. Good news is you can change all of that with one phone call…make an appointment at your nearest Skin Renewal centre for an instant eye rejuvenation treatment that will soften your looks.
The delicate skin below the eyes is thin and it does not contain the same amount of oil glands as the rest of the body. It is therefore one of the first areas of the face to show stress and age-related changes. The skin around the eye gets dry and the padding over the orbital bone reduces, causing the skin of the lower eyelid to be pressed on the orbital bone and excess skin forms. This results in the appearance of prominent eye bags and the development of crow’s feet. These changes are a constant reminder of the speed at which we age and can dampen an otherwise youthful appearance.
Previously there were no effective, non surgical treatments for the management of ageing around the eyes, apart from eye creams that offered minimal improvement. Today, however, specific treatments are available at Skin Renewal centres that powerfully re-model the eye area and improve elasticity and collagen strength. Restylane (a dermal filler) and Carboxytherapy are two rejuvenating treatments that provide men with non surgical solutions to crow’s feet and under eye bags.
Restylane Eye Rejuvenation
Restylane eye rejuvenation is a new technique through which the hollow tear through is filled with hyaluronic acid. This will plump up the skin under the eye and allows light to be reflected, thus improving the crow’s feet appearance and eye bag effect. This tear trough rejuvenation contours the lower eyelids in a safe and minimally invasive way and brings back a youthful volume. There is hardly any pain involved during the procedure and the best part is that results are instantaneous and last up to 24 months.
Carboxytherapy Eye rejuvenation
Another new technology, known as Carboxytherapy, offers an alternative to Botox® for the improvement of crow’s feet, under eye bags and dark circles. By insufflating the lower eyelids and crow’s feet with carbon dioxide, blood flow and oxygenation to the area are increased, resulting in improvement in eyelid texture, crow’s feet and tissue luminosity. The treatment causes mild discomfort that only lasts for 2 to 4 minutes. Four to six treatments are needed every four weeks and the results are accumulative and permanent.
Stop isolating yourself in the office. Be part of your team by being an engaged leader and not the dreaded, stern looking ogre.

Black skin. I’m black and have just turned 30 – I was appointed to director a month before my birthday. I reckoned on the money & perqs, but not on the strain. Your article is a surprisingly good reflection of my situation.
The problem is that in this period, I’ve taken on a lot of stress and I suddenly (very suddenly) have these bags under my eyes.
The problem is that most procedures and potions are designed for caucasian skin – my black skin may not crack, but it forms very prominent cheloids.
I’m not vain, nor effeminate – in fact, the contrary is true – but I am slightly vain. What hope is there for me?
I’ll say. get over yourselve
