WILL YOUNG RELEASES NEW VIDEO

Advertorial

The original Pop Idol Will Young has released a new single and a cleverly choreographed video clip from his latest album.

The track Losing Myself is the third single off Young’s critically acclaimed album Echoes.

The video was directed by Henry Scholfield, who has directed clips for other British artists such as Lily Allen.

It features Young ‘shadowed’ by four men, who appear to represent other aspects of himself, as he goes about his daily routine.

The video’s release comes as reports surfaced that Young (33) was dropped as a judge from the BBC’s version of the American talent show The Voice.

It’s believed that he was only informed 24 hours before the judges were announced that he had been dropped at the last minute in favour of Danny O’Donoghue, from the rock band The Script.

The BBC has rejected claims that he was taken off the panel because he is openly gay, a spokesperson telling the Daily Mail “That’s not to say the BBC doesn’t think Will’s fantastic. We do. He’s just not right for us at this time on this show”.

Young commented by simply tweeting: “Life is sometimes a bitch.”
