Gay man missing in Pretoria after drawing money
A thirty-year-old gay Tshwane man is missing after drawing cash from an ATM in the east of Pretoria.
Leon Serfontein (left) was last seen by security guards at the Moreleta Spar shopping complex on Tuesday at around 9am.
A close friend told Mambaonline that his family and partner are “desperately in need of help to find him.”
Serfontein’s phone has been switched off. According to his partner, a bank statement confirmed that he had made a withdrawal from an FNB ATM.
The missing man, who has blue eyes and short brown hair, was wearing a grey t-shirt, plum shorts and white and neon orange Nike trainers. He is 187 cm tall.
If you have any information about Serfontein’s whereabouts, please contact the Garsfontein police station on 012 470 4200 / 082 778 9424 or his partner on 082 267 3013.

“GAY” man missing…. Why does his sexual preference matter? Why is he not just a missing person? Is it more important to find him because of his sexual orientation or are there specific volunteers that only look for gay people? Come now. It’s 2016. If gay people want to be treated with equality, we should stop discriminating against anyone because of their preferences.
