JAKE GYLLENHALL DOES DRAG

Brokeback Mountain star Jake Gyllenhaal has performed live in drag on the Saturday Night Live television show. He sang the song And I’m Telling You, which is featured in the new movie Dreamgirls, dressed as the film’s star Jennifer Hudson.

The hunky actor, recently chosen as the “male celebrity we most wish were gay” by gay.com readers, was the host for last week’s episode of the long running American TV show, which usually features a celebrity host.

Gyllenhaal opened the show by telling the live audience that Brokeback Mountain “meant a lot to me and doing it opened me up to a unique fan base and their support was amazing.”

He continued by saying, “So if you don’t mind, I’d really like to do something special for them. Something that the fans of Brokeback would love to see me do….” He then donned a wig, stripped off his suit to reveal a dress and spectacularly burst into song. He was joined on stage by three back-up singers.
