Wentworth’s new boyfriend?

Mamba Mansion’s residents have been rejoicing at recent reports that über-babe Wentworth Miller is dating a man. And not just any man, According to PerezHilton.com, it’s T.R. Knight’s ex, the equally tasty actor Luke McFarlane. McFarlane has a recurring role on the TV series, Brothers & Sisters, and appeared in the 2004 film Kinsey. The reports say that the two, who have apparently been secretly dating for six month, are so in love that they’re planning on moving in together. Bless. They have also been travelling together to international commercials shoots. “Wentworth’s become very difficult to work with,” an insider is reported to have said, adding that, “He’s been cutting back immensely on the amount of press he’s doing for Prison Break. He’s very nervous about reporters asking him if he’s gay.” Despite being consistently dogged by gay rumours, Wentworth has flat out denied that he is gay in previous interviews, most recently saying that he is hankering for settling down with a good woman. “…it’s definitely something, a wife and kids, that I’m looking forward to experiencing at some point in the very near future.” Tsk, tsk. Come out already Wentie!

Post-prison Paris report

So what’s Paris Hilton been up to since being released from jail. There was the interview on Larry King Live, which left the world collectively sniggering at her po-faced denial that she had ever done drugs. Then she went on a solo holiday in Hawaii, doing little more than hanging out by the pool like a good reformed girl. She’s also been wearing oddly conservative frocks. (She’s clearly going through a Victorian phase.) Most recently Paris was spotted this week taking private acting lessons. The actress was seen at acting coach Ivana Chubbuck’s (yes apparently that is a real name – snigger) home in Hollywood. Plus she was holding Ivana’s book, The Power of the Actor. (Sucking up to the teacher are we?) It may well be that the heiress has decided to focus her renewed energy on acting instead of partying and red carpet whoring. Who knows, perhaps with some commitment one day we’ll be cheering her on to an Oscar win. Okay, probably not…

Kate kicks Pete onto the curb

The nightmare that was Kate Moss and Pete Doherty’s romance may have finally come to an end. Kate has thrown him out of her St John’s Wood, north London home after she found out that he had cheated on her with another woman. A moving van was seen outside Kate’s house, which appeared to be taking away all of junkie Pete’s few earthly possessions. Reports say that he has been reduced to living in trailer park and that Kate has changed the locks and hired security to ensure that he stays away. On Tuesday Pete was spared jail after a judge offered to send him to rehab following various drug charges.

John Travolta speaks on gays and scientology

Responding to a recent call to boycott the movie Hairspray because star John Travolta is a scientologist, the actor has denied that his religion hates the gays. John, in glorious drag and a fat suit, plays a female character in the film. “There is nothing gay in this movie. I’m not playing a gay man. Scientology is not homophobic in any way, in fact it’s one of the more tolerant faiths. Anyone’s accepted,” the former sex symbol said. The 58 year old balding actor has also been ridiculed for using bad hairweaves. In recent publicity photos, in which he is seen sporting a rejuvenated hairline, closer inspection reveals a layer of mesh, onto which a hairweave is attached. It sure is tough getting old in Hollywood.

Divas to make TV appearances

It’s been confirmed that Kylie Minogue is to make a guest appearance in an upcoming episode of the cult British sci-fi TV series Doctor Who. The show, which was recently brought back to life by Queer as Folk creator Russell T Davies, has become a gay favourite in the UK. Kylie will appear in the Christmas special episode. “This will be the most ambitious and best Christmas episode yet,” said the openly gay Davies. In the US, Madonna is said to be lined up to make a vocal appearance in an episode of The Simpsons. The show’s creator Matt Groening has said that he’d kill to have her make a cameo: “We would love her to do the show. She’s one of the people we haven’t been able to get yet.”

Where are the uncensored Nick Lachey pics?

The paparazzi have been accused of sinking to new lows after illicit photos were taken of Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo in the midst of a full blown sex romp in an outdoors hotel hot tub in Mexico. The couple were on holiday when the paps photographed the two in all their x-rated glory going at it like bunny rabbits. A few censored tame shots have been released by the tabloids, but apparently the collection of images is shockingly explicit. Surprisingly, the shots appear to not have yet leaked onto the Internet. (We’ve tried to find them, believe me) In response, a sheepish (but always hunky) Nick told OK! magazine: “I was in Mexico with my girlfriend of a year, celebrating our anniversary on a private vacation. It’s not like I was caught with a Mexican hooker. We’ve all gone out and had a few too many and done something stupid. We’ve all made mistakes.” Word is the two celebs have lined up their lawyers to prevent publication of any more of the photos.

Spice Girls bitchfest

Just days after announcing their reunion world tour (which includes a planned show in Cape Town), rumours about the Spice Girls’ infighting started to appear in the tabloids. Apparently things have gotten so bad, the tour organisers are concerned that the whole thing will fall apart if one of the stars pulls out. Reports say that while they’re all smiles for the camera, the girls actually cannot bear each other. This is said to explain why they have been separately sent to different parts of the world to do publicity for the tour. Insiders have been spilling the beans on fits of jealousy, diva tantrums and late arrivals at meetings. The girls plan to release a greatest hits album, including a new track, to coincide with the tour. With some of the group’s members realising that they’ll never have successful solo careers, the whole thing is clearly a last ditch attempt to milk the Sp[ice Girls phenomenon.
