Craigery Morgan

Craigery Morgan : The internet’s hottest new thing

If you haven’t heard of Craigery Morgan, then where have you been hiding? The gorgeous 20 year old, apparently gay, American student recently created a sensation on YouTube with a video clip in which he lip-synchs – shirtless of course – the role of actress Kristen Wiig in a Saturday Night Live skit. The clip has been viewed over 4.5 million times and it’s fascinating to watch; weird, funny and an odd turn-on. Craigery, who describes himself as an “aspiring comedic actor” has since posted more clips showing off his talents – making him a rising star in a new generation of internet celebs. “It’s my dream to one day be a cast member on Saturday Night Live and bring laughter to a large audience,” he says on his website, adding: “I’m constantly challenging myself creatively to come up with new voices and characters!” He insists, however, that he’s shirtless in his videos only because “he’s a poor college student living in Florida” and it “gets really hot down here…” We certainly hope to see more of him – shirtless or otherwise. /

Zachary Quinto stays mum about his sexuality

Heroes and Star Trek star Zachary Quinto has opted to neither confirm nor deny ongoing rumours about his sexuality. The dishy actor, who stars in the new Broadway production of the acclaimed Angels In America, spoke about the issue in an interview with Vanity Fair. “I’ve come to realise through experience that ultimately I really do have a lot of power in terms of the way I relate to the public or to people outside of my intimate circle of friends and family. Boundaries are very important to me.” Zachary, however, won’t stay silent on important LGBT issues, passionately speaking about gay bullying, ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’, and marriage equality. “The fact that these things are such hot-button issues right now, socially and politically, I would much rather talk about that than talk about who I sleep with,” he said. “I would love to be a voice in this maelstrom of chaos and obsessive celebrity infatuation that says, ‘Let’s talk about something that matters,’ ” he added. Yeah, yeah, all fine and well, but coming out as a gay role model would also make a big difference, Zachary. As a public figure, who you sleep with is also a political statement…

Tyson Beckford

Tyson Beckford has a mancrush on Russell Simmons

One of hottest men in the world, model and Make Me a Supermodel host Tyson Beckford, has revealed that he has a mancrush on hip-hop and fashion mogul Russell Simmons (53). Speaking at the launch of Simmons’ new reality show (his ex wife Kimora Lee already has one, after all) Tyson said:”A lot of guys might wonder why he gets all the ladies… Whether you’re gay, straight or black or white, it don’t matter … you just can’t resist him.” He added: “He’s the ‘Most Interesting Man in the World.'” Well, we don’t know about that, but you and Russell would certainly make for an interesting couple…

Glee stars asked to appear in Playgirl

Glee stars Mark Salling and Chord Overstreet have each been offered $100,000 to appear naked in a special issue of Playgirl magazine. “We would be very willing to pay for them both – up to $100,000. And it wouldn’t have to be fully X-rated, either,” said a hopeful spokesperson for the magazine. Sadly, both actors have apparently declined.

Jared Leto tweets about his skirt

Actor / singer Jared Leto can’t seem to get enough of showing off his lean bod. Not only did he recently do yet another shirtless photos shoot, this time with fashion photographer Terry Richardson, but he also posted a new topless picture on Twitter – wearing a skirt. “Real men wear skirts,” he noted. (We agree, but that skirt would have looked a lot better without pants – show us some leg!) The picture did however lead to some concern that Jared is looking a little TOO lean and possibly even suffering from an eating disorder. He does seem to be suffering from that “lollypop” head syndrome…

David Beckham

World swoons over David Beckham’s thighs and bum

The world collectively swooned over the release of pictures showing David Beckham getting changed in the middle of a LA Galaxy Game this week. The camera was in just the right place to capture his perfectly formed thighs and backside in all their glory. Hallelujah!

Posh’s bags make PETA see red

And speaking of the Beckhams, Victoria is in trouble with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). They’ve complained that her new bag collection is made with crocodile, lizard and calf skins. There’s even been talk of activists planning to throw red paint or animal blood over her in public. A spokesperson for the fashion icon replied: “These skins sit strictly within the CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species) regulations and are monitored at every step of production.”

Jackass admits to “homoerotic humour”

Johnny Knoxville and Steve-O from Jackass have described their latest film, Jackass 3-D, as a “humanitarian attack against homophobia”. When asked by Vanity Fair if all the male nudity in the film doesn’t make it “a smidge gay”, Johnny replied: “I’m offended you just said a smidge! We’re a gay pride parade that’s happening! And in 3-D!”. Steve-O added: “We always thought it was funny to force a heterosexual MTV generation to deal with all of our thongs and homoerotic humour. In many ways, all our gay humour has been a humanitarian attack against homophobia. We’ve been trying to rid the world of homophobia for years, and I think gay people really dig it too.” And to affirm the point, they recently screened the film at the famed New York leather bar The Eagle to a roomful of leather-clad bears. Jackass 3-D opens in South Africa on November 19th.

Ricky Martin to restart music career

Ricky Martin, armed with his biography and openly gay status, is about to re-launch his music career. A new single – his first in six years – is called The Best Thing About Me Is You. The duet with Joss Stone will be released next week in the US. The lyrics (e.g.: “Life is short / so make it what you wanna / Make it good / Don’t wait until mañana”) may be heartfelt but the preview we heard wasn’t particularly inspiring. Still, he looks as pretty as ever on the single’s cover artwork. That counts for something, right?
