Health4Men, the sexual health organisation for men who have sex with men (MSM), wants to know more about your life, and especially what you know about post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP).

PEP means to take anti-HIV medication to prevent HIV infection after possible sexual exposure. By doing research through this anonymous online survey, Health4Men hopes to understand how to improve the services they offer at their clinics.

This survey is meant for men who have sex with men who are older than 18 years and asks personal questions about HIV, your sex life, and your beliefs and behaviours.

The survey is completely anonymous and no one will be able to trace your answers back to you.

“The only benefit to you from participating in this survey is that you may have an increased knowledge and awareness of PEP afterwards. Increased awareness and use of PEP among MSM may help to reduce new HIV infections,” said Health4Men.

“However, if you do participate, you will be helping us to understand what MSM in South Africa know about PEP. This will help us to ensure that our programmes are relevant to the needs of MSM.”

The survey is long, but you can finish it at a later point once you have started. To continue, simply click on the survey link again and you will continue with the survey where you stopped the last time.
